Yes! We have over 200 free parking spaces in front of the hotel

How can I reach the hotel by public transport?
From Utrecht Central Station:
From Utrecht Central Station, take bus line 73 towards Maarssenbroek. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Zonnebaan bus stop.
From Maarssen Station:
From Maarssen Station, take bus line 73 towards Utrecht Central Station. After about 5 minutes, get off at the Zonnebaan bus stop.
The hotel is located 350 meters from the bus stop.

I want to have more people than planned stay in my room. Do I have to pay extra?
Our room prices depend on the date, the number of people and the room type.
Not every room is suitable for extra guests, but we are happy to help you find a solution!
We are happy to provide an extra bed for you:
- Baby bed (up to 3 years): €0
- <12 years: €17.50 per night
- From 12 years: €37.50 per night (on request)
Prefer a little more space? The LoxtXL is suitable for 3 or 4 people as standard.

What kind of payment do you accept?
At Carlton President, you can pay easily and securely with iDeal, debit card or credit card (including Visa, Mastercard and American Express).
Please note: we do not accept cash or PayPal.
Pay in advance by bank transfer or settle your bill on arrival? You choose what suits you best!

I don't have a credit card, can I still book a room?
Yes, that's no problem, but don't forget to check in before 4 p.m. See above for other payment methods.

Do I have to pay tourist tax?
Yes, the tourist tax for 2026 is 10% of the room rate.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel in writing before 12:00 noon on the day of arrival, we will not charge any cancellation fees!
This applies to flexible rates booked directly with Carlton President. For other rates,
the cancellation conditions may differ.
The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply to all reservations. Would you like to see them?
We will be happy to send them to you free of charge.

What time is the check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is before 12:00 PM

Can I check in earlier?
Would you like to check in before 2 p.m.? This is possible based on availability for €20.

What time is breakfast served?
In One24, we serve a comprehensive breakfast buffet on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at Carlton President.

Do you provide baby cribs?
Yes, that's possible! We are happy to provide an extra bed for you.
- A baby cot (up to 3 years old) is free of charge
- For children <12 years old we charge €17.50 per night

Do you have a shuttle service?
For our business guests, we offer a complimentary shuttle service on weekdays at fixed times to De Wetering, Papendorp, Oudenrijn, and Maarssen train station. Please inform us in advance if you would like to use this service.

Can I store my own bicycle with you?
Absolutely, Utrecht is a true cycling city! We have some bicycle parking spaces and a covered bicycle storage area on our premises. Unfortunately, spaces cannot be reserved; it's first come, first served."

Can e-bikes be charged?
Yes, there are 8 power outlets available in the bicycle storage area. Alternatively, the battery can be taken to the hotel room for charging.

Please note that the wellness facility can only be booked in combination with an overnight stay.

What is the price for using the wellness facility, and what is included?
One hour of use of the sauna, Turkish steam bath, and whirlpool costs €29.50. It includes 2 bathrobes, slippers, and 2 delightful mocktails.

The wellness facility can be privately reserved for one hour.

Do you have TWIN rooms?
Yes, our hotel has TWIN rooms. Book a Standard room and give us a call or send an email in advance if you prefer a TWIN room. While we cannot guarantee a TWIN room, we will do our best to assist you.

Do you have TRIPLE rooms?
We don't have triple rooms, but we are happy to provide an extra bed for you:
- Baby bed (up to 3 years): €0

Can I reserve an extra bed or crib?
Yes, a crib can be placed in the room upon request for €10 per night. Please refer above for the costs of a larger extra bed.

Is there a minibar in the room?
Yes, all our rooms come with a standard minibar. The minibar in the Standard and Comfort rooms are stocked with two bottles of cold water. In the Deluxe room and LoftXL, you can enjoy a fully stocked minibar with a variety of drinks and treats for free.

Yes, we provide room service daily.

No. All rooms, balconies, and public areas are 100% smoke-free. However, a designated smoking terrace is available."

Can I modify the date of my reservation?
It depends on the type of reservation you have made. If you booked directly through our website or the Reservations department, you can communicate your intended modification for your (refundable) reservation by phone or via email to reservations@president.carlton.nl. Please note that (non-refundable) non-modifiable reservations cannot be adjusted. If you booked through a third party such as Booking.com or Expedia, you will need to modify your reservation through that particular platform.
